Sibyl’s Bio
I was lucky to find Jivamukti Yoga in NYC back in 1997, and have the honor of studying intimately with David Life and Sharon Gannon in their cozy east village studio. I knew from the start that yoga was for me. I took my practice with me during intense schedules as a fashion model and then as a touring musician, both of which careers allowed me to travel the world, and to gain perspective on my purpose here. In 2008, I moved from Brooklyn to Topanga Canyon with my partner and our daughter. Since then, I feel so honored to have been able to learn from incredible Los Angeles teachers; Annie Carpenter, Jasmine Lieb, Vinnie Marino, Lisa Walford, and so many others who rekindled my love for the daily practice. Inspired by the way my life transformed as I dove back into yoga, I completed the Yoga Works 200 hour teacher training and began teaching full-time. I’ve been humbled by how, when I turn to it, yoga works from the inside out to guide me on my path.

The energy of letting go is necessary to make space for what we wish to manifest. we’ll release negative thought patterns, as well as energy blockages to cleanse and detoxify layers of ourselves. Restorative practice is like yoga dessert!

We’ll work with each other to discover your intetntion and create ritual to support the realization of your highest path. Come prepared to move, we will work with some deep yoga asana, focusing on opening the hips, the second gateway to backbending.
